In 2022, The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis commenced the first phase of a memorial, by seeding a wildflower border, in remembrance of the approx. 8,000 unmarked graves within the common ground of compartment Eta.
The next phase is to install a permanent memorial stone as part of our current project plan. This is currently in the design and approval stage.
