As part of the Glasgow Science Festival (GSF) 2026, the Friends of Glasgow Necropolis and the University of Glasgow are delighted to be offering a walking tour of the Glasgow Necropolis, where we will share some of the stories of those who dedicated their lives to the principles of work, rest and play.
From health to exercise and fitness through sport and leisure, all of life’s rich tapestry is contained within this incredible Victorian cemetery, so come and join our friendly and informative tour, and hear about some of the unsung and inspiring men and women whose names are on the headstones and part of the story of Glasgow and beyond.
