First World War Oral History Event

Come and share your stories at St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art, Glasgow on Saturday 28th March between 12 noon and 3pm.

Perhaps you have a relative who is remembered in the Necropolis?  Did a friend or family member take part in the fighting of the First World War or perhaps work in Glasgow’s munitions factories?  Do you have photos, medals or memorabilia you would like to talk about?

The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis are keen to record your stories to add to the knowledge of First World War. This is part of a heritage lottery funded project.  Please join us for a friendly and informal oral history drop-in event.

If you would like further information please contact Fiona at f.watson@archaeologyscotland.org.uk
